Dhandupalya and Hai Krishna' for friday
The shock and dismay the society faced in the past from the gang ‘Dhanupalya’ is a part of the story for Kannada film ‘Dhanupalya’ – the feared gang rape and murder plus leading a sadistic life that were found in newspaper columns director Srinivasaraju picked as subject. He has only a little percentage of the real life activity and makes an ‘Entertaining’ cinema.
With a series of ugly activities the debut producers Prashanthkumar and Girish have invested from ‘Apple Blossom’ banner. Arjun Janya has scored the music and Venkat Prasad is cameraman. The film has all the songs penned by Dr Nagendra Prasad, Thriller Manju is the stunt director. Anand Priya has penned the dialogues.
The ‘Dhandupalya’ gang on silver screen is lead by Makrand Deshpande. Ravi Kaale, Pooja Gandhi, Muni, Petrol Prasanna, Yathiraj, Jai Dev and Danny are team members who create fear. Raghu Mukerjee and Nisha Kothari, Chandrasekhar, Sudharani, Srinivasamurthy, Doddanna are also in the cast.
‘Hai Krishna’ another film of the week deals with a youngster locked in the problems when he extends support for his friend. How he comes out from his clutches is part of the climax of this SK Productions. Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are handled by Roy Kollegal.
AT Ravish has done the music and Ramesh is the cameraman. Krishna Supriya, Shruthi Raj, Biradar, Mandya Jayaram, Mamatha, Danny, Vijayalakshmi Shankar Narayan, Sunila, Umesh PUnga are in the cast.
